SPECIAL EVENTS IN August: (See Our Regular Weekly Schedule Below)
Our Summer Schedule continues this month with no Sunday morning Christian Ed classes. Sunday services are at 10 am!
Monday Mornings – August 5,12,19,26- Women’s Bible Study (10:30 am) – Come out for a time of prayer, fellowship, and study of the Word of God! Be encouraged in your walk with God by other women who are seeking to walk in fellowship with God daily!
Saturday August 10 – Men’s Prayer Breakfast – 8:00 am – Men of all ages are invited to gather for fellowship, encouragement, and prayer! This month’s gathering will begin at Valley Family Restaurant (2816 Easton Ave, Bethlehem, PA 18017), then move to the church for discussion and prayer! Breakfast will be provided on a “pay what you’re able” basis. Mark your calendars and plan to join us!!!!
Sunday – August 11th (12 – 10 pm) – Musikfest Outreach (“Your Debt Has Been Paid!”) – Emmanuel will be conducting a special outreach on the last Sunday of Musikfest this year as part of our annual “parking lot fundraiser.” On Sunday 8/11 as drivers approach our lot, instead of receiving $5 from them to park, we will give them a note sharing God’s love! The note will explain how we all have a (sin) debt we are unable to pay. But the cost of our debt was paid by Someone else, Jesus Christ! Members of Emmanuel “sponsor” cars, contributing $5 in advance to pay for one car. The outreach will continue until all funds are exhausted. In addition to the note, each person will receive a bottle of ice cold water! …ALL IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST!
Sunday August 25 – Congregational Picnic (following the morning service, approx 12:30 pm) – East Allen Township’s Bicentennial Park (pavilion A). As part of this event, we will gather to look back on our year to-date and discuss our fall & winter church calendar. Click here for a map of the park…
Wednesday Evening Christian Ed Class (7-8 pm) 
In Pursuit of Paul the Apostle – One of the most radical transformations in the Bible was that of the apostle Paul, who went from an enemy of the faith to its great defender. Come, learn about his transformation, travels, and the impact he made to Christianity. (Leader: Trent Stehr)
